WEIMAR NEW YORK AT THE NEW YORK BARD

It returns Weimar New York, after the show held in 2012 to support the elections of Obama, show ideated by Earl Dax, hosted by the brilliant and inimitable Justin Vivian Bond which will be staged on 2nd and 3rd August 2013 in New York during Bard Summerscape at the Bard. The show, an assertive show, explores the subversive decadence giving rise to an enchanting parallel between the Weimar era and contemporary times, told by a sparkling alchemy made of burlesque, cabaret and drag performances, featuring renowned artists from the Downtown New York art scene as Julie Atlas Muz, Penny Arcade, Darrell Thorne, Tigger, Nicholas Gorham and Matthew Charles Crosland. A not to missed happening to enjoy a show, art, music, have fun and think about ideas as identity, dependence and independence.

Ritorna Weimar New York, dopo lo spettacolo tenutosi nel 2012 per sostenere le elezioni di Obama, show ideato da Earl Dax, presentato dal brillante e inimitabile Justin Vivian Bond che sarà messo in scena il 2 e 3 agosto 2013 a New York in occasione di Bard Summerscape al Bard. Lo spettacolo, uno show assertivo, esplora la decadenza sovversiva, dando vita a un incantevole parallelo tra l’ epoca di Weimar e la contemporaneità, raccontata da una frizzante alchimia fatta di performances burlesque, cabaret and drag performances,  di cui sono protagonisti rinomati artisti della scena artistica della downtown newyorkese Julie Atlas Muz, Penny Arcade, Darrell Thorne, Tigger, Nicholas Gorham e Matthew Charles Crosland. Un evento imperdibile per apprezzare uno show, l’ arte, musica, divertirsi e pensare a idee quali identità, dipendenza e indipendenza.
